VideoWhile it’s only one piece of the puzzle in a media room, the TV is definitely the focal point of the entire system. TV’s are very thin now allowing many options where the can be installed.
If you have not yet purchased your new TV, based upon your needs and budget, we can find the right TV for your media room. Based on the TV's environment, we’ll help you determine if your best option is plasma, LCD or LED. We will work with you to help determine the best size and placement for your television, whether that means hanging it on the wall or incorporating it into a fine piece of furniture. Other determining factors may be what you use it for - watching sports, playing video games or enjoying 3D movies. |
AudioTo really enjoy your movies and TV the way they are intended, the speakers on the TV just aren’t adequate. A 5.1 surround system (5 speakers, 1 subwoofer) has been the standard for years, but systems can reach up to 9.2 (9 speakers, 2 subwoofers). The great thing is, you don’t have to give up your entire living space to accommodate a great audio system. TVs have become flat, but speakers and subwoofers can completely disappear into your walls. You can also go the traditional route and use floor standing or bookshelf speakers with wood finishes that accent your existing decor.

Controlling It
There’s no point in having a great media room if it's difficult to operate. That’s
why every system we design includes a programmable remote. We make sure that everything operates easily with the touch of a button. |
Lighting and Shade Control
Picture windows are beautiful, but they can also create glare on the TV making it unwatchable. Modern Media can treat those windows with shading that can be controlled with your remote or automatically when you start a movie. The lighting in your home can even be dimmed automatically.
